πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ πŸ’‰ Tainted blood inquiry opens in the UK, victims seek answers | Al Jazeera English

Testimonies from people infected with HIV and Hepatitis C from blood transfusions in Britain have been heard at an inquiry in London.
Thousands died in the 1970s and 80s after being treated with contaminated blood.
The inquiry will seek answers to how and why the infected blood was used, as well as to investigate claims of a government cover-up in the 1980s.

Al Jazeera’s Neave Barker reports.

  1. Why are we only now caring about this when it happened almost 50 and 40 years ago, its wayyyyy past the statute of limitations just make sure to fix the issues for the future rather than focus and wasting money on out of date prosecution.

  2. Bayer got profits, we got AIDS!

  3. Jazeera continues it smear campaign against the West and to fuel hatred. I have a suggestion. Why not try and investigate some local matters in Qatar, like the deaths of slave laborers that have been building those football stadiums for the World Cup.
