With 96 percent of votes counted in Israel’s general election – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party appears to have won the most seats – but only just.
Earlier in the night, Netanyahu and his main rival Benny Gantz both declared victory.
Neither side secured an outright majority, but it appears Netanyahu can secure a fifth term in office with the support of smaller right-wing parties.
