🇾🇪 Yemen: UN urges donors to convert pledges into cash | Al Jazeera English

The humanitarian crisis in war-torn Yemen is worsening, with the number of cholera cases surging.
The UN has asked that $4bn pledged for emergency humanitarian aid be paid but only a small portion of it has been received.
The two countries fighting in Yemen’s civil war alongside the government have pledged $1.5bn between them but Saudi Arabia and the UAE have decided to pay in instalments, drip-feeding their funds.

Al Jazeera’s James Bays reports from the United Nations.
