Bella Hadid and The Weeknd love Takashi Murakami

Couples that live together often start developing the same taste in art and fashion; such seems to be the case with Bella Hadid and the Weeknd.

For Christmas, 23-year-old Hadid received an array of brightly colored Kaikai Kiki flower pillows designed by famed Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. The cute home accent pieces vary in size and price from $125 to $800 at a variety of retailers, but it seems that the supermodel’s boyfriend Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, has taken a liking to Murakami as well.

The “Starboy” singer, 28, posted selfies to Instagram on Friday wearing a sweatshirt covered in the artist’s iconic flower print. The sweatshirt, a limited-edition design from 2018 ComplexCon, is available on resale website The Real Real for $995.

The couple are far from the only Murakami-obsessed celebs: Drake, Pharrell and Kanye West have all collaborated with the artist on projects including album art, tour merch and more.

And now that Hadid and The Weeknd are fans of Murakami’s flowers, perhaps they’ll add more color to their apartment, which is currently covered in Hadid’s own magazine covers.
