Charlotte Tilbury‘s various types of lipsticks are some of the most beloved in the beauty industry. Personally, I wore Matte Revolution lipstick in Walk of Shame for my wedding a few months ago. (I know — not exactly the most matrimonial shade name, but it was perfect.) There’s also Hollywood Lips matte liquid lipstick, the creamy K.I.S.S.I.N.G. range of lipstick, and the Hot Lips satin-finish lipsticks. The only thing that’s missing is a glossy lipstick — until now.
Charlotte Tilbury has just launched Superstar Lips, what the brand describes as its first “slim stick” lipstick format. The formula is almost balm-line its moisturizing and smoothing properties, with hyaluronic acid, peptides, softening polymers, and emollient oils. Although Charlotte Tilbury makes a lip gloss called Lip Luster, Superstar Lips is the glossiest color the brand has ever delivered in a stick.
The relatively small launch includes six super-wearable colors. Sexy Lips is a nude peach, Wild Lips is a berry pink, Confident Lips is a deep berry, and Happy Lips is coral. There’s also two classic Charlotte Tilbury shades, the pinky-nude Pillow Talk, and the rosy berry Walk of Shame, which I’m obviously going to have to wear on my wedding anniversary. Each one is made extra-shiny with the help of diamond powder, which the brand says creates a “sparkling photoluminescence.”
Like Charlotte Tilbury’s other lipsticks, Superstar Lips are priced at a not-inexpensive but totally-worth-it $34. And if you think you’d love one (or two or six), this is no time to hesitate: Superstar Lips has been deemed limited-edition part of the Cosmic Gift Shop holiday collection, which also includes palettes, an advent calendar, and more. But if you’re fully focused on getting your hands on Superstar Lips as soon as possible, you can find them at charlottetilbury.com right now.
