The storm was slowly turning west on Friday as it makes it way back toward land and is expected to strengthen in the coming days, the National Hurricane Center said. Dorian is then forecast slam the southeastern United States as a possible Category 4 storm.

Forecasters say Dorian will likely slow down considerably as it approaches Florida, allowing for heavy rainfall, dangerous winds and life-threatening storm surge to linger.

  4. this is sad. I all so hope every one is safe.

  5. Everyone should come together for Florida, I pray everyone remain safe

  6. Is this Hurricane the result of Climate Change? Is Trump responsible for it? I need some feedback folks because MSNBC has me so confused I can't think straight anymore, please help me…please!!!!

  7. I live in Panama City beach and I'll tell you this much, we have still not recovered from Hurricane Michael. If this storm goes into the gulf and north to us, a lot of people are screwed. I know many people who are still living in campers because they lost everything last year.

  8. I really hope we all make out without costly damages, and stay safe throughout this.

I can deal with a lil rain and wind, maybe a lil power loss. But side from that I hope our families, and homes remain safe throughout this.

Stay safe out there, and God bless !

  9. I’d appreciate if people would stop the fear mongering as out of state relatives are already wigging out enough- we’re fine, this isn’t our first dance, can we all just check out backpacks and take a frikkin breath please

  10. time to brace yourself and get where you going and get everything you need

  11. They need to stop looting . The last storm massive people were robed and killed . They need to have control of the massive rioting . They need to have full armed force sent down now to stop the looding .

  13. non floridians that live in florida: OMG ITS GOING TO BE CATASTROPHIC!

    Floridians: Just another storm 🤷🏽‍♀️

  14. Anybody know if Palm Beach Garden is where Dorian will land?

  15. Our prayer are with all those in this disaster.

  16. All these idiots need to do is pour a few thousand gallons of soybean oil in front of the hurricane. That will calm it down and prevent billions in damage. They just can't figure out that edible soybean oil in a monolayer would diminish evaporation–the fuel for the storm–and diminish winds. It's Ben Franklin's idea. Watch "Crazy Lake Experiment" on YouTube, it scales up. I deployed 200 gallons around Key West to make a 129 square mile monomolecular sheen and it knocked Hurricane Irma down to a category 3. Oil spreads at between 0.1 and 0.3m/s.

  17. Evacuation is always a money maker for Florida. It's a scam. They get millions of dollars of revenue on gas, food, hotels, restaurants, it's more than tourism. This is all bullshit when you look back on history. This storm is days away. Don't fall for the hype. Storms ONLY affect coastlines. Storms only affect 100 miles of coastline. They have no idea where it's going this early in the game. You're being played a fool and they're taking your money. I've stayed home through 8 hurricanes since the 1970s. I laugh at all the tired travelers coming back home every time.

  18. God keeps sending hurricanes but people still insist on staying gay.

  19. What water there is no water in SW FL. It’s a mad house.

  20. My question is why aren't they evacuating..do they know what's coming for them???

  21. The news: " its gonna be catestrophic !!! "

Florida: " Hold my Beer "

  22. I like how the Gov is calm and isn't whipping people into a frenzy.

  23. I ask you to help me arrange a decent old age for Mom, help me with a cent, thank you very much. Payeer : 1016382090. 😢

  24. Can't hear it. volume up please.

  25. Not Floridas first rodeo. The government and the people have done a great job in this state building infrastructure and putting emergency plans in place. Whats dangerous is stupid people acting like the world ends tomorrow.

  26. Greetings from near the Gulf Coast in Alabama to our dear neighbors in Florida. Take care and good luck, y'all.

  27. Hopefully this is the one that wipes that wretched state off the map. Florida is like a cyst on America's ass.

  28. GENERAL = MARTIAL LAW IF PEOPLE ACT UP. Take your guns with you they won’t be there if you leave them in your house the military will have them and your not getting them back.
