This is why India has had issues with number 4 slot. There's no consistency. Shreyas Iyer has been playing well in that slot and now dropping him to fit in KL Rahul is unfair. Now the problem with this is Iyer will start feeling insecure about his spot and will be under pressure every time he goes out to bat in this series against Australia. I'd say the team management should go with Rohit-Dhawan as the openers, Kohli at no. 3 and Iyer at 4. The left-right opening combination would put off the Aussie bowlers slightly too.

Because he is the no. 1 match winner & most reliable player of the World. By coming on no.4 , it is not only bad blow for India but his own career. He not only stops the wicket falling but maintains the required runrate easily.👍
