  1. I hope it works, unlimited electricity were ever ones built. That's a good thing!

  2. Geothermal energy could power the world forever.

Currently it isn't 100% free of emissions, but it is FAR less than fossil fuel sources.

  3. You are confusing Solar Panel and an artificial reactor … that's no sun !
    Keep it simple stupid …

  4. I hope none of these scientists said the sentence "what could possibly go wrong?"

  5. I hope they will not end up using such a great energy to create some other destructive weapon.

  6. Yes, let's try build a sun on earth…. How about a blackhole while we at it?

  7. this is awesome. If we can find a good way to capture the sun's energy, we can say bye to Climate Change!

  8. That's no research centre, it the Starship Enterprise warp core!

  9. this will not create as much energy as the Egyptian beans and falafel create 😉

  10. So if they were to achieve this, how do they turn it off if they need to? There definitely needs to be an OFF button, right?

  11. This is a Good Step for Humanity just as long nobody Fucks it up

  12. I swear to God scientist will destroy our planet with their experiments stop tampering with nature

  13. if I say it will never happen then it most likely will happen, so, it will never happen.

  14. they are going to make us the next sun

  15. Haha 0:57 "so we built the world's biggest laser" Reminds me of Dr. Evil from Austin Powers.

  16. There is an unfathomable amount of energy just in a beam of light. If they can pull this off i would love it. However the big oil company's will try everything to not let this happen. I really hope it does though. This world needs it.

  17. electric universe theory has more truth than fusion

  18. Nuclear fusion research have undergone for more than 60 years and it still has not found a practical ground. Time to stop the greed and build stronger foundation knowledge and technology first?

  19. If they mess is up on ignition and brake magnetic containment earth becomes a sun. Evolutions wipeout redundancy plan. Next lol

  20. It's a fusion bomb laboratory, Ray E. Kidder a former scientist of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory suggested the money for NIF is essentially a waste for power production, this video never mentioned Inertial Confinement Fusion which uses the numerous lasers, that was mentioned, to perfect pure fusion bombs, however Magnetic Confinement Fusion such as in ITER in Cadarache, France is the way forward for energy production with fusion gain factor, Q = 10.
Just a physicist working on this.

  21. white people always messing with nature, fuck around and summon the decepticons
