Fights between police and some protesters in Hong Kong have broken out over a contentious plan to change the extradition law.
This was the scene, not long ago, outside the Legislative Council building.
We have heard that tear gas has been fired.
Earlier, debate on the bill was delayed.
The change in the law would allow criminal suspects in Hong Kong to be sent for trial in mainland China.
Critics believe China is trying to take more control of the semi-autonomous territory and chip away at civil liberties.
