The exterior insulation is a brilliant idea. It’d give so much more flexibility interiors. Wonder why we don’t use it more often.
those concrete stairs look waaaaay too flimsy!
Would not stand building code in any European country in my opinion.
Want to see the proven and modelled stress-levels and statics for that design and von mises stresses under load et cetera…
I recently had my concrete staicase built, and the individual steps were more then twice as thick with reinforcements both, an inch from the bottom and an inch from the top (1 inch equals the minimal concrete coverage required for rebar in that specific case. Also there should be way more rebar in there connecting the stairs to the concrete ceiling – sure, it will hold the way this is built, but when will stress cracks accour?
once a piano is carried upstairs?
or by usual daily usage?!
What are the safety levels calculated at?
i don`t know…seems sketchy as hell to me!
I can't trust anyone who calls concrete…cement.
Not exactly "brand new level" stuff. Expansion foam is going to blow your mind. . . .
I did stairs like that over 20 years ago
Nothing nice about a drop ceiling lol
👏
That's a good one.

Feather edge and bucket handle will give you fake bricks on render not plaster lol
The "master" could have done a much better job reinforcing that concrete stairway. You don't design reinforcing steel by just distributing it uniformly. Engineers carefully consider and analize the physics of each piece. To start with, about 4x as many hoops in the spine for torsional reinforcement, longitudinal bars on top in the treads instead of underneath to counter the reverse-cantilevers, and u-bars at the front of the treads into the spine to engage the treads with the spine– those little v-bars are worthless because they don't counter any real force. There's also no accomodation made for the attachment of the guardrails. This thing will be all cracked in the future and this guy will be nowhere to be found. Next time ask a structural engineer instead of assuming you understand the physics of reinforced concrete.
Yawn, basic stuff. first material is mortar, not plaster. second material is concrete, not cement.
They're doing what they were taught you fucking dumbass
It's called a stringer, not a string.
Also those stair case designs have been around since the 70s people thought it was all "Jetsons" style. They crack and start getting scary
Wtf 4 advertising for a short video like this it’s too much
Wondering how the foam blocks do during a fire? In hot areas how does the blocks hold up? Seems like it would be a good insulator
Song at 0:01 pls. thx.
You need a cement bonding agent for the cement to stick to a cement wall and prevent cracking.
What kind of cement bonding did the Philippino use?
A stair stringer, and t bar, your a fuckin tool and u waste everybody's time, just go to any jobsite and u will see this construction in use as it's been for the last 40+ yrs
This type of stair is relatively common.
This is nothing more than hardworking people that have good skills training and work ethic. To a modern Uber Easts and online life who don’t value labour this may all seam too hard
what's name of intro?
The installation product was good
Filipuno ingenuity!
Do you know How to Make a Real House like in The future like Star Wars Episode scene Home.🎬
Noice
I have long enjoyed watching your content and excepting them to be correct and thoroughly researched. However, I have dedicated my entire career(38yrs) within construction and at project level, which means a complete understanding of processes, materials and skill techniques needed to carry out all your included activities. Thus this leaves me doubting previous contents credibility. I can truthfully state that most that was covered was inaccurate. If you require assistance with future construction related topics, I am willing to assist.
Excellent

Bro drop ceilings are so old lol
Please correct the title "brand new" to "whole new". More appropriate
TechZone is one of the best creators for tech video compilations , i actually created my channel called cool tech gadgets and news to show even more latest tech gadgets and news , come check it out and i will always follow back !
You are just discovering drop ceilings? They've been around for decades.
Also, they're called 'Tin Snips' or 'Metal Shears', pliers don't have a cutting edge, and are meant to grip things.
Otherwise your videos have been great, keep up the good work!
I like the first one
Good work
Nice techniques. The last clip had the guys using very thick insulating blocks. I'd think it would over-kill, but if the windows that go into those openings fit well and look nice, then great!
This is one of the best videos he has made
I finally made it on time
