Kim Kardashian Shows Off New Green Hair Color on Instagram

Over the years, Kim Kardashian West has experimented with just about every hair color you can imagine. Platinum, gray, hot pink, and light blue are just a few noteworthy hues that come to mind. And it seems she doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon, considering she posted a new shot of herself on Instagram with mint-green hair yesterday. (Thanks to wigs and professional colorists on standby, being a color chameleon is as easy for Kim K. as changing outfits.)

KKW’s pale green hair color makes her look straight out of Aquamarine. In other words, the mermaid vibes are real with this one, and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t here for it. The soft, sea-foam-y shade highlights her complexion and somehow makes her chocolate-brown eyes appear more intense, too. The caption on Kardashian’s post? A simple “🧜‍♀️”emoji, which has us wondering what the new hair color is for. An upcoming mermaid-themed KKW Beauty campaign, perhaps?

It’s unclear who deserves credit for the makeup mogul’s fresh mint color, but she does tag her go-to hairstylist, Chris Appleton, as well as KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance, which means it might be for a brand photo shoot. It’s worth noting that there’s a solid chance her new strands are courtesy of a wig, as she’s worn them in the past (anyone else remember this neon-green moment?) to help protect her hair from too much color damage.

Regardless of how she got the green, this is one shade we’d love to see on the reality star for more than a week or two.
