95 99 and 02 were the best night races
Terry's car had sparks coming out from his right front going into turn 2 right before contact….
Why? Because Terry had a right front tire going down from contact and would've never made it to turn 3 …lol

I miss when there was only 1 racing line at Bristol.
My all-time favorite Dale Sr (my all-time favorite driver) and Bristol (my favorite track) moment. That race and the 2018 Overton's 400 at Chicagoland will always be my two favorite races. And in the words of Kyle Busch (my favorite driver in NASCAR today), "I don't know what y'all are whining about, but if you don't like that kind of racing, don't even watch."

I was in a southside Phoenix hole-in-the-wall bar wearing an Earnhardt #3 jersey, and the customers inside were not NASCAR fans. I asked the bartender to put the race on, and he reluctantly agreed.
I tell you what, by the end of the night, many were tuned in to the final laps, and a lot of new NASCAR fans walked out of that bar that night.
watching it live back then I felt like Terry slowed down going into the corner
