Marc Jacobs is gearing up for Pride Month early this year in a major way. The powerhouse designer, who has a long history of championing the LGBTQ community, is offering free wedding makeup services to three lucky couples. And what’s more: He’ll be capturing each couple’s journey on camera to create a special documentary, which will debut at New York City Pride this June.
The project was inspired by Jacobs’ own engagement to his partner Charly “Char” Defrancesco, which took place last April and involved a flash mob and Chipotle, according to a press release from the brand. “Marc Jacobs Beauty is looking for LGBTQ couples to share in the excitement of their upcoming nuptials and make their special day as beautiful as possible,” says the release.
In order to be considered, all you have to do is fill out the “Wedding Belles and Beaus” application, which asks a variety of wedding-related questions such as, “Are you going to write your own vows?” and “What has your journey to marriage been like?” It also asks about dates, the meaning of marriage, and where it will be held.
If chosen to be one of the three couples, you’ll score a makeup artist and videographer for your big day, which should not only save you some serious money, but could also (hopefully) take away the added stress of having to book both of the aforementioned. In regards to timing, folks have until March 31 to submit their responses for the chance to win and be included in Jacobs’ documentary.
With that being said, good luck to all the beautiful couples out there who are tying the knot soon. To sign up, head here for the full survey.
