We interrupt your daily grind to bring you some royally fantastic news: Meghan Markle’s amazing self-taught florist, Philippa Craddock, aka the mastermind behind the gorgeous green-and-white floral archway at last year’s royal wedding, is now making her way into beauty with the launch of her very own hair accessory line.
Yeah, we’ll just let that sink in for a second.
Craddock, who has already shared some of the stunning pieces on Instagram, released the range of accessories exclusively on matchesfashion.com. On the luxury site, you’ll find a full collection that includes faux floral headbands, chic hairpins with flower appliqués, elaborate flower crowns, and more.
A few of our current obsessions from the line are the Pale Hydrangea faux-flower headband, the Giant Dahlia faux-flower hairpin, and the Blossom faux-flower headband, the latter of which was just made for festival season.
Like us, fans of the U.K.-based florist are swooning over the ornate hair pieces and praising the designer for her intricate work. Many are leaving comments on Craddock’s Instagram post featuring the aforementioned flower headband with kind messages like, “How elegant, how pretty …🌸” and “Love them! Congratulations 👏.”
The only downside we can find is how costly the pieces are (prices are all in the hundreds), but to be fair, that’s to be expected considering Craddock’s talent and reputation — not to mention how delicate and luxurious the handmade accessories are. They’re true collector’s items you’ll have forever. All this to say: If you have the funds to splurge on a luxury item fit for a queen (or a duchess), then, by all means, treat yourself.
You can peruse the full collection for yourself now at matchesfashion.com.
