I live in Lafayette Louisiana, I saw the plane. The most horrific thing to ever witness, is people dying and there’s nothing you can do about it. The engine motor, the smoke, the power lines being snapped, and suddenly…..BOOM. And then….fire. Just fire everywhere. Horrific.
Those people just celebrated Christmas and had NO idea, it was their last. They had plans for New Years and had no idea, they’d never see it. You really have no clue when your last day will be. My heart breaks for these people, their families, and our community right now. 💔

I work down the street. That pilot found a small grassy area surrounded by residential neighborhoods, businesses and a busy Walmart to attempt to land in. No doubt his actions saved lives on the ground. May they all rest in peace.
