He held out so long, the tears were welling in his eyes from the outset…I'm an unashamedly biased Aussie supporter, but find the Kiwi's as the most competitive and sportsman like of opponents. Ross Taylor should be extremely proud of his achievement in surpassing his mentor, another great of the game…and one of my most admired of all Kiwi's ever, Stephen Flemming I'm sure has a lot to do with it…no finer cricketer have I seen, not by virtue of his achievements on the field (not taking away from them either, loved watching him play), but just as a fine example of a man and leader of his country's team, one of the best ambassador's I've seen anywhere.
