  10. My brother swam for a div1 championship school and said when they were cutting they added increasingly longer sprint sets between lifting sets for maximum benefit. It wipes you out but they found it kept their metabolism burning significantly longer than the standard lift then run workout. Might be worth checking out.

  23. Good points! Lifting too heavy with bad form is insanely unhealthy for you.

  24. This is point for point the same things I learned that changed my physique. I'm 37, in the best shape of my life and continuing to evolve. Although, I'd add alcohol to the list of things to be aware of. I went from having 2-3 drinks (hard liquor) per week, to 2-3 per month and immediately started cutting fat off my body. I also noticed that I was reaching for a drink most often when I hadn't had enough calories.

  29. Good advice, I'm lean, and keeping carbs out expect around workouts works for me. Stay away from Low-fat/Non-fat products, it's just sugar that replaces the fat

  36. dude it happen to me as well, and the worst part is that I know the correct diet, exercise amount of weight the proper movements because I'm a doctor — but still fall for the easy fast food and soft drinks

  38. Good Advice man! Definitely diet and exercise is important to losing weight. I remember I changed my diet to whole wheat bread and brown rice and stopped eating fast food. I started to get amazing results and I lost my first 45 pounds last year in 5 months just by running and changing my diet. Keep in mind that I ran everyday and I was 190 pounds and I lost 45 pounds by going crazy with running and push ups. I was never skinny and I was always fat my entire life so diet becomes a lifestyle if you want to lose weight.
